barrell:

The words that the RED spoke were so quiet Barrell almost had to ask him to speak up a bit, but realized it was to keep from awaking his sleeping teammates. He looked up at the man he helped off the floor and gazed at his face to see those familiar squared frames, he knew instantly…

“Um, yeah… I do.” He stammered while looking at Taylor and how clearly he wore his worry, Barrell could even feel how on edge the poor doctor was and couldn’t help but feel uneasy as well. He waved his hand so that the other would follow him through the dimly lit winding hall, back to the workshop. At least the walls there were thicker.

“You know, you don’t have to be so cautious, it’s pretty clear of others here. Many of the BLU’s actually have a good sleeping habit too, I’ve been thankful for it myself.” He said lightheartedly, trying to ease the tension as he reached to unlock the door and swing it open for his guest.

“Go on in, just mind your steps of all the… Ah, clutter.”

barrell:

“Poison, really now? Well that’s certainly something.”

Barrell never took Taylor for being one to threaten others, no matter the situation, it was an awkward thought. Hell this whole happenstance is an awkward ordeal seeing him taking plans to shove down his somewhat expensive…

“I’m not much to investigate, don’t have much of a life you know. I can’t see why you would bother, wasting your precious time, but if it makes you happy I’m glad to help out.”

He really couldn’t care less what Winsor wanted to do. Ransack his room, kill him? Been there, done that, old news.

“So are you done with all… This? Had your fun for the day?”

barrell:

“I did not take you for one, but suit yourself.” He leaned up against a wall to watch the Spy prod about, hoping he might stick himself with a live wire to get a laugh out of it, but as for the doctor friend.

“He’s probably doing alright, last time I saw him he was still in one…

Barrell never took Taylor for being one to threaten others, no matter the situation, it was an awkward thought. Hell this whole happenstance is an awkward ordeal seeing him taking plans to shove down his somewhat expensive looking suit, but something that petty won’t get the best of the short Engineer.

“Philandering?.. Ah, out of all the words, no I haven’t been philandering for goodness sake!”

He didn’t even bother to answer the question, that word just left him with a bad taste in his mouth.

barrell:

snidespy:

“Mm, oui.” He mutters while rifling through the engineer’s work place with such a casual demeanor.

“Well, since you’re here, can I help you with finding anything? You seem very interested in searching through my belongings.” He tapped a nearby drawer with his foot. “I…

“He’s probably doing alright, last time I saw him he was still in one piece. Besides he’s your teams medic, shouldn’t you know?”

“Well, since you’re here, can I help you with finding anything? You seem very interested in searching through my belongings.” He tapped a nearby drawer with his foot. “I keep my diary in here, if that interests you.” His sarcasm couldn’t be any more obvious as he spoke.

snidespy:

barrell:

“I am just checking in.” He pats Barrell’s cheek.

“I zhought I would stop by and make sure yeoo are being a good boy.” And perhaps to pilfer a fer few things. The usual.

“Hey, I’m not no damn dog.” He huffed out while wiping his cheek.”So is that it, just checking in?”

*casually tussles Barrell's hair.*

“Eh, What in bloody hell?” Barrell jerked quickly away from the culprit touching his hair. “Oh, it’s you.”
